“tourism,… serve as catalyst for the development of agriculture and fishery communities” as cited in Republic Act 10816 or the “Farm Tourism Development Act of 2016.”

this makes organic farms at the advantage with their unique development frameworks that higlights notable practices and technologies that visitors can learn from with the chance to experience doing a daily farm routine.

Of LOAMC-PH membership, the Municipalities were able to established their respective demo farms and learning sites. These agro-fisheries learning destinations attract different LGUs, Associations, and Academic institutions to explore the different organic farming initiatives as reference for replication.

with the ability to attract people, these farms inadvertently are tourist destinations already – improving income of owners and the community as a whole.
