Bislig City has a prominent organic agriculture program and aims to become the “Model City for Organic Agriculture in the Philippines by 2020” under the governance of City Mayor Librado C. Navarro . The IFOAM Asia – 3rd Organic Asia congress will take place on 16-21 September in Bislig City, Philippines with the theme “One Big Family on Innovations and Sustainability”.
